Last week we shared the picture of our online student from Leicester, Phoebe having her guitar lesson when her family came up to visit 🎸 She also receives online tuition from our tutor Charlotte and managed to squeeze in a face to face for this as well! 🎤 She sounded great and we can’t wait to see her get involved with more musical opportunities in the future 👌🎶

We had an amazing show on Thursday last weekend for our Easter Concert 🎶🐰🍫 We are continually proud of our students and there were so many examples of students going out of their comfort zones, performing for the first time, improving from their last performances or purely just joining in and having fun which is what it’s all about 👏 Well done to all of those involved and thank you to the tutors who helped out. 3 years of Kewen School of Music 🎶🥳 This picture is from our opening day on 27th March 2023 when we had musician Andrew Cushin come down and Mayor & Counsellor at the time Warren and Kath help represent Blyth. We had our first lesson later that day and since we’ve had thousands more bookings, a current team of 18 staff members and a countless amount of pride and achievement in what we do. Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported us over the past 3 years. Here’s to 3 more 🙏🎶

Just re-sharing our Christmas Concert Highlights from our last student concert in Dec 2025 🎄 3 times a year we get to give our students an opportunity to perform in front of an audience and make a show out of it. Unfortunately our drum tutor Jack will be leaving us this year so we wish him the best of luck with everything in his future! 🎶 We are delighted to announce our new Thursday drum tutor who will be his replacement: Graeme! 🥁 Graeme has been teaching in schools for 25 years and has a music degree, Grade 8 drums, Grade 5 theory and lots of live band experienced. We are very lucky to have him and we can’t wait for him to join the team😃👌
