Welcome to Kewen School of Music! We are excited to have you join us on your musical journey and hope your experience with us is enriching and enjoyable.
Lesson Bookings
To book a lesson, please contact Callum directly at 07901 935300. Alternatively, use our online booking system to view available time slots and tutors.
All lessons must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to secure your slot. Last-minute bookings cannot be guaranteed and may require direct contact with the school.
Payment Information
Payments for all lessons must be made in advance to confirm your slot.
Payment Methods:
- PayPal only (via our integrated online booking system)
- Bank Transfer: Available by prior arrangement. Please include the student’s full name as the payment reference.
No Cash Payments are accepted.
Lessons will expire if not used within 3 months from purchase.
Late Payments may result in your slot being released.

Block Booking Prices
All block bookings expire after:
- 5 lessons: 3 months
- 10 lessons: 6 months
No refunds are provided once a block has been paid. All bookings adhere to the school’s cancellation policy.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
There are no exceptions to this policy. This includes sickness/illness, traffic delays, or any other circumstances. We cannot reschedule lessons with less than 48 hours’ notice.
Missed, late or wrongly timed sessions will be charged in full.
Tutors reserve the right to refuse a lesson if marked unpaid.
Any changes to bookings must be managed via Callum directly.
In the rare circumstance that our tutor cancels, you will not be charged and your slot will be honoured on a different day.
On-site Conduct
Please arrive on time to allow for smooth session changeovers.
Parents/guardians may wait in our kitchen area or attend the lesson.
Please ensure you are on time to collect your child from lessons. Lessons may end a minute or two early to recap their practice and allow changeover time.
Parking is not permitted in the courtyard – use public parking nearby.
Room Hire
Room hire is available for practice or teaching purposes:
- Room 1 (Drums): £12/hour
- Room 2, 3 or 4: £10/hour
Room hire is subject to the same payment and cancellation rules as lessons.
Discounts & Double Lessons
Family Discount: £1 off 30 mins / £2 off 1 hour when relatives attend within 2 weeks of each other.
Multiple Lessons Discount: Applies to students learning 2+ instruments. This is the same as the family discount.
Double Lessons: Joint lessons available at £5 extra per session.
Safeguarding & Safety
All tutors are Enhanced DBS checked.
Our premises are monitored by CCTV.
Coded entry is used for secure access.
Some tutors are first aid trained.
The school is fully insured for liability and contents.
Performances & Holidays
We host three concerts per year (Easter, Summer, Christmas). Enquire for details.
Holiday closures include one week at Easter and one at Christmas. Dates are posted in advance on our social media channels.

By booking and attending lessons or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. We cannot be liable for any miscommunication if you have not read these terms. These may be updated from time to time with appropriate notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
